The subject of the invention is the panel's unit module and the method of fixing on it the single- or multi-layer covering using the "dry" method, without using any glue. Moreover, this method enables reversed disassembly, separation and replacement of covering with other one, for application in production processes of products in the form of various wall cladding and floor and ceiling covering for finishing the utility interiors inhabited by humans. The panel, as the module's unit, has been fitted with a unified system of locks 3 in which, using a key 4 or a string 5, covering 2 is fixed.
The subject of the invention is the panel's unit module and the method of fixing the covering on its two or four thin side edges and on front surface, through stretching and fastening the covering using the key in locks in the panel sides.
Known and revealed are the modules of thermal-acoustic panels, heatingcooling panels and air-thermal panels in the Polish descriptions of inventions PL336019 and PL341914 as well as PL382880, where in the two first mentioned inventions the covering or finish of front and side surfaces of the module, in the form of panel strip, is produced using PL345226 method of gluing the decorative layer on the panel's support in the form of fibreboard or the given aluminium section, and in the third of these descriptions the panel has been prepared for such the method. These solutions, as well as all the interior finishes so far known in this field, using various type and use cladding, both wall cladding and floor coverings, use, in the technological manufacturing process, the method of gluing or applying a decorative or protective layer, which makes them permanently finished in the scope of once applied layer, protective or decorative, without the possibility of replacing it. This is because the so far existing ways and methods do not provide the option of replacing such the layer, but only its regeneration or refurbishment within the same layer, through scraping, painting, laundering or gluing again or applying a completely new layer, which in the conditions of fixing and utilizing these solutions is extremely difficult and troublesome, as well as time-consuming, ineffective and very expensive.
Disclosure of Invention
The purpose of the invention in the structure of the basic module of the panel and the method of fixing the covering, the decorative layer of such the panel, is complete elimination from the technological process the existing methods and ways of gluing or applying the decorative layers, through replacing these methods with a new and dry method of their application, stretching and fixing in permanent-replaceable manner on that module unit, which in combination with other modules creates the complex wall or floor plane, whose decorative layer can be replaced at any time. The essence of the solution used in the panel's module structure is in the fact that the two or four thin edges, sides of this module, have been equipped with locks of impressed key shape, is characterised by narrow neck, whilst the covering, decorative or protective layer fixing method itself consists in its stretching and clasping its edges using the key or nylon string inside these locks, to make the covering fixed in stretched position on the front surface and two or four sides of the support of the panel unit module used. It is good if the module has been fitted with additional locks placed in the module's base, serving founding and fixing on the surface plane. It is good if the module has been fitted with additional locks placed in the inner edge of the module, serving mounting of its components and various parts, inner and hidden inside such the module. Beneficial for the method is when the key or string fixing the covering of this module can be removed from the locks to make possible changing the covering to other or new one. Beneficial for the method is when the unified system of locks and their location in the module enables fixing at each time the covering of such the module in three ways. Beneficial for the module and the method is when
the lock has inside a narrow neck on which the string or key placed is locked, making impossible slipping of the covering from its fixing without using force or a tool for this purpose. Beneficial for the module and the method is when the panel's locks system enables fixing with it the covering in multi-layer form, composed of various layers. Beneficial for the module and the method is when the inner locks system on panel's side can be additionally used for joining the module units through interlocking with insert.
Brief description of Drawings
The objects of the invention have been presented in the picture in which Fig. 1 presents the supporting structure in the form of the selected unit module of the panel, divided from the covering marked with interrupted line in cross-section and Fig. 2 the supporting structure after fixing the covering in inner locks of the panel's side using a string, whilst Fig.3, the supporting structure of the panel, with covering fixed, placed on the surface being the basis and the frame in the form of thermal-insulating plate, whilst Fig. 4, the cross-section of the selected fragment and the detail of the module with the component inside, which together with this supporting structure and the module has been placed in the wall field surface, as well as the cross-sections of the lock, string and key details.
Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
The panels' unit module 1 made of the supporting structure 6 in the form of the given aluminium profile, has three locks in its thin edge 3 of which one, as the external one, serves fixing the covering 2 using a key 4 or a string 5 and the other one at the panel's base, for its mounting and fixing to the surface 7 whilst the third inner for mounting and fixing the components with it 8 so that the whole panel, completed as the module unit, could be placed with other in the field of the wall, floor or ceiling 9 with possible and additional use of inner lock 3 characterized by narrow neck 10 for combining these units of the module into a complete entirety using loose tongues, of two-side character of the key and in such the sequence which would enable reversed disassembly of all of this field 9. The method of fixing the covering 2 on the front and two thin edges of the module 1 completely eliminates from the technological process the glue and chemicals, which makes the process fully "dry" and the module's 1 joining with any covering 2 absolutely safe and properly fixed, the stretching and aligning on locks 3 of the character of multiple use clamp using the key 4 or nylon string 5 which makes the process reversible and repeatable for replacement of worn covering 2 and moreover, as regards its removal without physical or mechanical damage, which was not possible with the existing so far methods of joining. Worth mentioning in this method is the fact that the same method enables fixing multilayer coverings without the need to use glue joints, which enables one, both in the production and during the use, to freely set up the covering layers, that is folding, changing and replacing whenever needed, with such as thermal-insulating directional foil, aluminium foil, vacuum foil, fire protection foil and many other of various use and application for other needs. The panel's unit module as well as the method of fixing the covering on it enable, at the present state of know-how, using all the known finishing materials, from such as natural materials in the form of all types veneer, lining, paper and cardboard as well as fiber materials to genuine leather, as well as the wide range of artificial materials in the form of any contour and ornament impressed in thermoplastic foil, plain and embossed artificial leather, through all types of wallpaper to metallic foil, which considering their fixing method, lets the user replace or change them to any other type of known and not yet known coverings. This means that inventions, in their nature, besides dramatically changing the very technological process and the production, bring the new value to the field and domain of interior finishing and refurbishments and renovation, because they not only reduce the time required and the habits connected with such, but, in addition, they eliminate all inconveniences and burden connected with noise, dirt and excluding the rooms from use, because the very method of fixing and changing the covering is the fully dry and chemicals-free technology, which in addition makes the product and the method friendly to the human environment - not polluting its environment, because the materials used can be biodegradable and the selection of other can be recycled. Inventions are part of the group of basic human needs and can be generally used in production processes of all types of interior linings, including the leading POLPANEL linings and products can be widely used in new and old buildings as finishing materials of walls and floors as well as ceilings or structural elements of partition walls and office-bank-shopping partitions, as well as other rooms requiring high thermal, acoustic or fire insulation or heating or cooling of ordinary or special-purpose utility premises, because the possibility of using multi-layer coverings gives great possibilities in these and other respects.
1. The panel's unit module, characterised in that two or four narrow sides, external edges of the supporting structure (6) of the module (1) have unified locks (3) of narrow necks (10) and impressed shape of key (4) and string's head (5) in which a single- or multilayer covering (2) is fixed.
2. The panel's unit module, according to the claim 1, characterised in that it has at its base the additional unified locks (3) serving its locating and fixing on the surface, thermal-insulation plate (7) of the wall or floor or ceiling field (9).
3. The panel's unit module, according to the claim 1, characterised in that it has, on the inner edge of the module (1), additional unified locks (3) serving fixing inside of it the components (8) of the finished panel.
4. The method of fixing the covering, characterised in that the covering (2) without the glue joint in dry state is stretched along edges, fastened and clamped in the locks of (3) the module (1) using keys (4) or strings (5) remaining in such permanently stretched position and aligned with the front and side surfaces of the finished panel.
5. The method of fixing the covering according to the claim 4, characterised in that the keys (4) and strings (5) applied therein and fixing the covering (2) can be easily removed from the module (1) by way of reversed disassembly, enabling the removal and exchange of the covering (2) with other one.
6. The method of fixing the covering according to the claim 4, characterised in that the keys system (3) and their location in the module (1) at all times enable and fix the covering (2) in three possible ways in the fastening on sides, base and outside the module (1).
7. The module and the Method, according to the claims 1 and 4, characterised in that the narrow neck (10) of the lock (3) blocks the string insert (5) and the key (4) in the way protecting against peeling off or slackness or detachment of the covering (2) from the module (1) on itself.
8. The module and the Method, according to the claims 1 and 4, characterised in that the locks system (3) can fix the covering (2) composed of many different not glued together layers.
9. The module and the Method, according to the claims 1 and 4, characterised in that the locks system (3) can be additionally used for joining the modules (1) together through interlocking with insert before and in the field of the wall, floor or ceiling indoors and outdoors.
